Introducing MEAD WORKS
We have tentatively named our newest community project located south and east of the intersection of Farwell Road and the Newport Highway (SR 2) Mead Works. The name reflects our intent to create an urban mixed-use neighborhood with a pedestrian focus, extensive trails and open space.
Mead Works will be designed to really fully use the North Spokane Corridor rather than funneling more traffic on the already heavily trafficked north-south arterials like Division and Nevada streets. This proposed project will be a development of a walkable mixed-use neighborhood with a combination of office, retail and residential uses. A significant portion of the project will be dedicated to parks and open spaces, including an inter-connected pedestrian system.
